SomnoGuard® AP has been designed by a sleep center and underwent successfully several clinical tests. The treatment is efficient on patients which suffer from snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. For severe obstructive sleep apnea, you should consult a sleep specialist and follow a heavier treatment.

SomnoGuard® AP can be fitted for every mouth, as it consists of two thermoforming oral mouthpieces that are easily shaped on your teeth. The external face of each part is made of a hard plastic and when you immerge each mouthpiece in hot water, the inner face becomes soft and you have to clench firmly your teeth to achieve an exact impression of them.
The lower mouthpiece is provided with a screw system to adjust the lower jaw advancement with accuracy from 0 to 12 millimeters, depending on the screw put in place.
The upper mouthpiece is provided with a guide linking both mouthpieces and enables the patient to perform lateral movements with his jaw.
